We are Francesca Favero and Roberto Zago. We live in Padova (Italy) and work into an Institute of our Diocese.
Our passion for web and a justified spiritual inventive joined, and started off, in 2000, "la Parola" (www.laparola.it): a website who would not be a teaching source, nor a source of theological knowledge, but, more simply, a way to approach to the Holy Scriptures.
Now, we decided to extend our boundaries, offering our humble service also in English language.
It's weird how we all send jokes and stories through email routinely. In this way everything is amplified and spread out as voracious flames.
But when we have spiritual messagges to send we think about it twice before sharing them with others.
It's weird how obscenity and vulgarity travel freely through the cyberspace, while talking openly about Jesus is avoided almost carefully.
Isn't this curious?
But even more curious it is how someone could worship Christ on Sunday and being an invisible Christian for the rest of the week.
It's strange but, after reading these few lines and probably agreening with them, you won't mention them to others since you're not sure of what they might think: of what they might think about you!
It's strange! We worry more about what people think about us than of what God can think about us!
Today, thanks to the web, words can travel everywhere in the world.
Help us spreding out the "living Word"! Reading the Holy Scriptures everyday can enrich the soul of all the Christians!
